 Setting up Disk Drives
Hey im a first time computer builder. I have some money from school so im trying to build something that is going to last me a long time.
I plan on getting an Intel X25M to run my OS and a few games
And then i plan on using a regualr Western Digital 500 GB to store random programs and music and the like.
Unfortunately i have no idea how to set this up or how to use it once it is set up
So im looking for some advice on how to setup and use this system.
Thanks in advance

 Re: Setting up Disk Drives
yah sorry about that. Try Overclock.net And IDK what you ended up doing, but crucial makes the best SSD's right now if you go SATA 3 at least. Samsung 470 is in second place. Pick based on price/size. They each have several different models. Intel's just a bit out of date currently (I bet they'll be back in it soon though). http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6820148357

 Re: Setting up Disk Drives
also maybe look at this http://stevesmithblog.com/blog/how-to-s ... ssd-drive/The "manufacturer's website" will usually contain a tutorial or a forum to setup the SSD. You need to search around. I haven't done a SSD before so I don't know all the steps/possibilities yet. I've heard great things about them though. Good luck.
