 New smartphone Suggestions
Hey, I've got a verizon cell plan now, and it allows me to get a new phone every 20 months, that time is up for me in a about a month, and I've decided I want a smart phone so that I can check my email and have some kinda of calendar/TO DO list (because as of now, my room is overflowing with sticky notes). A mobile web browser would be nice too. I don't really care if its a blackberry or a windows mobile or whatever, I just need something that works on verizon and will sync easily with my computer.
Anybody got suggestions?

 Re: New smartphone Suggestions
Mobile 6 is out and amazing, I would recommend any HTC rebranded phones, I had the 3125 and it was ok, ATT version had some issues with the battery cover tho, they replaced mine with the 8525 which i'll talk about in a new topic.
But being able to sync via bluetooth is nice. works seemlessly on wm6

You could slim down your talk time and get a better data plan. Probably around a full $150 per month.

hmm...yeah..we'll have to see.
In reality, I could just not get the data plan and forgo the email and internet capabilities. While mobile email would be nice, I mostly want it so i have my outlook calendar and phone in one device...

 Re: New smartphone Suggestions
If your contract with Verizon is over, why not get an iPhone? At first, everyone thought it was just hype. But now that people actually have their hands on it, they're saying that it's a really great phone. Even Chris Pirillo loves his iPhone, and he was like the biggest iPhone hater at launch. Now that Ponzi shut his mouth by buying him an iPhone for his birthday. http://youtube.com/watch?v=JcBPVNccRIE

 Re: New smartphone Suggestions
i don't need a mobile media player, which is basically what the iPhone is. I want an organizer, something that the iPhone is not geared towards. Outlook moboile is a much better option for me.

 Re: New smartphone Suggestions
actually, i just got the iPhone, and it syncs seamlessly with Outlook, except for notes and todo, but inputing notes on the phone itself is easy enough. Although it is a media player, the web/email services are great, and so are the organizational services. Its calendar, contacts, and photos syncs as well as, or in some situations, better than Windows Mobile. Also, they have a great scrolling system for scrolling through and selecting contacts. Plus, with $20 more a month for unlimited data, and 200 txts, how could you go wrong? Price is average for a smartphone with 8GB of flash storage.

 Re: New smartphone Suggestions
well, that's not much of an option, since I have verizon. Also, I hate iTunes and I don't really want a portable media player. And, I have like 12 email accounts, and the iphone can't handle all of those.
I'm probably gonna go with the new samgsung i-760. I played with it and its really.
and i need to sync my todos.

 Re: New smartphone Suggestions
well, im submitting this post from an iPhone, but have you had a look at the voyager? Its the verizon knock off version of the iPhone but folds open to a keyboard. Just try out the touch screen before you make your decision as scrolling on it requires alot of force.

ick, the voyager is terrible...Also, it doesn't have true Email or data capabilities... I'm pretty sure I'm gonna go with the Samsung. If you've seen any of the reviews, it's pretty sick. I'll post some unboxing pics.

 Re: New smartphone Suggestions
Yeah looks pretty nice. Nice design, 3MP camera too which isnt bad, surpirsed it wasn't a little more, But I guess its more for the business side. But then again, any person is in need of a camera sometime or another. Michael
