Watching movies from computer on the tv

It works well enough but I have some degredation in video quality (faint horizontal-ish lines). I have a Nvidia geforce gtx 260 video card and a 720p 32" Dynex flatscreen tv and the span between them is roughly 12ft. What cables do you recommend for better quality?
