Looking at brands, eVGA, XFX, Gigabyte, MSI, Asus, Corsair, Antec, Seasonic, Thermalright, Coolermaster and Silverstone are my most trusted.

Hello Kieran, Thanks for the reply. I was thinking around the $2,000 mark. What case, power supply, cpu, motherboard, cooling, Ram, hard drive and vid card. I know nothing about the newer computers so any help you can give me would be nice. Should i build or buy a cpmplete computer?

Personally the only good thing about an alienware computer is that you can change the colors of the LED's to anything. Thats about it. And cases are kinda ugly too.

If one of my friends bought a alienware and gloated all day about it.... I swear to god. I would find them and destroy it. Anyway. You should build your computer. It gives you better options for what you can have for your computer. Unless you find a cheap(er) computer with good specs then go right ahead.
