 MS Paint
My god I hate Microsoft... mostly for tricking me into uninstalling ms-paint and Internet explore, including all the protocols (meaning firefox didn't work either). Then they requried me to have a genuine Microsoft XP CD to re-install these features... &*#%$@#*. Anyways... this was 2 months ago, & I was able to reinstall internet explore by "upgrading" to IE8 which reinstalled all those little computer connecting codes I needed. MS Paint however... was a complete *&$^$ to get back. Couldn't even DL it off microsoft. They kept insisting I needed my original install CD; such BS. Couldn't even copy it from my friends windows 7 computer... apparently it is a "super protected file" in Windows7. Well.. 2 months later... I FINALLY GOT MS-PAINT BACK!! & not the stupid windows95 version that only supports .bmp! MS Paint DLIn case anyone experiences the same agony I once did. --> I'm just so much faster with this little program, cropping & what not, because I've used it my whole life.

Anything that is pure white will be transparent.

 Re: MS Paint
Why not use photofilter instead of paint, much faster to crop photos.
Mine, was all installed already when I buy my pc. And haven't plan to upgrade my vista to windows 7. I can't loose an OS at this time.

 Re: MS Paint
or why not use the 'GNU Image Manipulation Program' aka. G.I.M.P.
even though the names a bit unfortunate it's a good program
